Dear friends and partners,

 

It is an honour to present to you our 13th Annual report. This year was shortened by one month as we changed our fiscal year from September to August. Despite the change, many of our goals were met.

 

Our goals for this year were to reach out to 34,841 families in community development – we completed the year with 33,364 families involving 266,912 dependents – in cottage industry it was to reach out to 594 families with 4,352 dependents – a goal we met. In total, Tabitha Cambodia worked with 33,958 families with 271,664 dependents.

 

Our budgets were met through miraculous ways - savings increased phenomenally this year to $1,290,895.28 – from this our 33,364 families made 124,385 purchases changing their lives for the better. The value of these purchases was an astonishing $8,910,861.00 worth. Families that received wells increased their incomes to an average of $2.50 per day – a remarkable increase.

 

We graduated 5,759 families this year. These families were graduated out of Siem Reap, Takeo, Prey Veng and Kompong Som projects. These graduations are painful for we have become very close to these families over the past 6 to 7 years – we have watched them change their lives from ones of despair to ones of hope and dignity, from lives of destitution to lives filled with meaningful work and relationships.

 

It was a remarkable year – we went from strength to strength – a year of consolidation of vision and of our implementation of that vision. Each one of you stood beside us – each one of you was an integral part of it all. On behalf of the families we worked with, the staff and myself. Thank you.

 

I praise my God for His grace and for His mercy in the year that is past. I look forward to serving all of you in the year that lies ahead.
